Medium ruby-garnet in color. Fairly translucent. The nose is clean and medium in intensity, with earthy aromas that evolve to black cherry fruit and cola as it opens up. The palate is dry, and consistent with the nose, showing black fruit and wild mushrooms with a mostly savory finish. This is fairly Burgundian in style, with just a little more fruit and oak. Drinking well now, but likely to improve with age. It actually drank better the next day. A very good value at under $20.00

Dark cherry fruit with a pronounced brambly/stemmy character. Medium body with a lean mouthfeel, some rough edges and lots of grip. Similar to prior bottles, but more rough and rustic. I found this bottle to be just a bit awkward and disjointed.

PnP, that's ready to go directly upon opening. Dark garnet core, no sign of age. Brambly, slightly spicy black cherry fruit. Notes of dried, dusty meadow. A masculine build swathed in acids and angular tannins. A solid, if modernly-styled Pinot that is very serviceable mid-week or at a party. Worked well enough with food. Good not great. Drink thru 2014, 13,5% abv, score: B/B+

Very pale in color. Very nice nose of cola, cherry and maybe pine straw? Thin and a bit hot, but pleasant.
