HDH auction tasting at Tru; 12/10/2015-12/12/2015 (Chicago, IL): The nose on this is stunning, showing red fruits, spice, and a lot of earth as well. The palate is perhaps a bit more austere, with the fruit drying out a little bit and the stems showing quite prominently. I love the spice and fruit here -- it's classic Dujac. The acidity is surprisingly high for the vintage.

Beautiful, at peak, very balanced, medium color. Rich fruit up front, some astringency on the finish.

Wines Tasted at HDH Auction; 12/10/2015-12/12/2015 (Tru Restaurant - Chicago IL): Alluring aromas show lots of perfume, great sweet spice and maturing red cherry and berry. Less exciting flavors mostly showcase the mature red fruit's ripeness.
