Man these 93 Dujacs are good. Showy snd flashy from the get go. A stunning perfume of spice, earth, forest leaves. Palate show dark fruit, black tea, and umami. Outrageously good.

Leiden in Rotterdam: Unfortunately cork in the nose. Taste is however relatively uncorked due to the impressive body of fresh red and dark fruit that is still present in this wine. Good acidity. However the nose increasingly becomes an obstacle in further tasting. Not-rated.

France 2012 - Côte d'Or; 7/16/2012-7/21/2012 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From 375ml. Wow, quite a change going from 2010s to this beautifully maturing wine with notes of tobacco, red cherries, perfume and a trace of pinot funk. Soft and elegant with maturing sweet red fruits, nice acidity and a long finish. From this half bottle format I think this close to peak and don’t see it getting better, although it should cruise here for many years. Excellent.

Soaring, youthful red fruits and softened tea notes. Sappy, and very classy. Iron. Still very young. Gorgeous wine.
