  • Surprisingly good, considering the age. I didn't expect much of this wine. It has a pale gold color, almost like champagne. The wine was smooth and rich, almost glycerin-like - which I certainly didn't expect from either the varietal or the region. Maybe a result of the age? Reminded me more of a light riesling than a pinot blanc. Good wine, and worth seeking out again. A pleasant surprise.
