I've got nice scents of herbs, black pepper and ripe red berries on the nose. On the palate, this is medium bodied, balanced with nice texture. It's good wine, but too simple for a Cote-Rotie.

Not decanted bottle. Medium ruby color, with quite closed nose. After some minutes in the glasses develops some hints of sun-dried tomatoes, plum, cherries and herbs. Medium - bodied wine with high acidity and still aggressive tannins. Flavors of plums, cherries and tobacco. Satisfying, but a little bit dry aftertaste. It needs at least 5 more years to became a great wine. Between this vintage and the vintage of 2000 I prefer the second, because of maturity.

Austere, dried fruit. Savory and peppercorn-inflected. Mid-weight. Ready to drink. Has a cool feel to it

Elegant red fruits , cinnamon and woodsy spice with classic olive notes. Still somewhat tight. I would hold 2-4- years.
