NOTK Spanish Grand Cru tasting (Supernova hotel, Rotterdam): Still nice, but at least 3-4 years past its peak. There is a hint of fatigue on the nose; Iodine, leather, stewed fruit, licorice, bit of barnyard, forest leaves, figs. Medium tannins, medium acidity, long finish

Dark garnet. Dry berries, caramel apple notes. Elegant. Smooth tannines, high acidity. Well balanced. Long finish.

wine evening hosted by Yoram (at Yoram Solberg): blind tasting;
red-purple color;
wonderful leathery smoky aroma of a mature wine, more Riojan than Priorat!;
full-bodied, tannic, harmonious, long after-taste - a good surprise.

Dirty minerals, spice, leather, nice herbal component. Good acidity and concentration. A little out of balance and kinda funky but I really enjoyed this.
