- Yellow gold color - This was a surprise. Sure, its past its prime and slightly maderized, but still had a beautiful nose and good fruit. I wish this wasnt my only bottle.

From glass. First ever experience with Viognier that is old enough to legally drink itself. Arresting nose of actual, undeniable butterscotch - both in its milkiness and its tangy-burnt sweetness. Petrol, too. On the palate, lesser experience of that same nose (also dry, and not sweet). Complex and elegant, but not immediately or obviously tasty or delicious. Reminds me of sherry, and if I had a whole bottle I would enjoy drinking it as such. What a nose. Memorable wine experience.
