Very good, 16.5% alc. Colour: deep dark chocolate Bouquet: sweet varietal (Grenache) fruit, fruitcake, chocolate and raspberry, spice and floral spirit Palate: dark berry and forest fruits, spirit uplift, rum and raisin, blueberry pie, long clean uplifted soft finish. Soft acids and soft full tannins. Not porty at at all. January 2016

Solidly constructed wine. Nose of purple grape candy, blueberry pie filling, balsam, juniper, sea salt, and touches of sweat. The palate has one obvious flaw on entry; dissolved CO2 that I have not been able to get to dissipate, perhaps it will by tomorrow. Besides that it is nicely sweet and replays the grape candy and blueberry pie filling notes and features firms tannins and a long blueberry syrup finish. Similar qualitatively to a typical LBV port, though a bit of a different style.

Very smooth. Dark chocolate, black raspberry, and roasted coffee. Very easy to drink. Would make a great pairing with some sort of chocolate dessert.
