I didn't find this cooked or pruned as others did. Ripe? Yes. Predominate aroma of tobacco, with ripe sweet fruit and mushroom. Ripe dark, sour, and candied cherries, confected w/ wet tobacco. gritty, smarties candy, sour acid finish. Not super elegant, but interesting nonetheless. faded after a couple of hours, so I'd say drink up.

Tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red no bricking -pruney roasted fruit molasses -med- acidity, med weight syrupy faint pruney dark fruit, just a little bit of heat and med/med- tannins -this is very much an '03 with a roasted fruit character but the balance is good and it is not too hot, still has some upside I believe

Confrerie lunch. Ripe, cooked fruit. Both the over-mature house style and the 2003 vintage together created a wine that is not very appealing. Lacks freshness, has a Souther Rhone, Priorat aroma profile to it, although to be fair, it is not flabby due to the acidity present.
