Quite funky to begin with, I almost wrote if off, but was quite struck by how it evolved with two hours of decanting into something beautiful. Really quite a lovely wine, a bit pricey, but shows something special.

After 2h recanting, interesting ageing fruit, high tones, vinuous, lots of spice, great balance and power. Lovely ageing nebbiolo, probably at its peak - well developed but still vigorous.

Lovely tar & roses fruit, elegant and sinuous, hardly any tannin noticeable. Ready - should last but unlikely to improve. Not profound but delicious.
