  • Appearance: A bit hazy, it has medium garnet color, with legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity aromas, showing dried fruit of prune and fig, herbal notes of anise, pungent spice of licorice, mineral notes of tar, kernel notes of chocolate, maturity notes of damp earth. The wine is fully developed.
Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, medium (-) tannin which is fully dissolved, with medium in alcohol and medium (+) body, it has medium (-) intensity flavors of dried fruit of prune and fig, herbal notes of anise, mineral notes of tar and earth. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Acceptable quality Barbaresco, the wine is probably past its best. The nose is not particularly rich but still showing some good range of aromas, on the palate the high acidity stood out and giving the wine still good vibrancy, with the tannin fully dissolved. The flavors are also not that concentrated, with decent complexity and the finish is reasonable.
