  • This wine opens with soft notes of dried flowers and a subtle hint of apricot. On the palate, refreshing flavors of lemon tart and lively grapefruit shine through with great intensity. Its fine bubbles add elegance to each sip. The finish is creamy with a touch of brown sugar. This RdJ is the oldest I've tasted, and it's in a perfect place now, with potential to age gracefully.

Delicate nose which oscillates between tropical fruits, citrus fruits and chalk.

Very rich mouthfeel with a lovely enveloping touch, with aromas of apricots, honey and mineral salts. The juice is very dense, carried by a beautiful acidity although bitters destabilize the wine somewhat in the second half of the palate to finish with a beautiful intense finish, as chalky as it is tasty and good length.

    Excellent.

  • Bonkers good, easily the best champagne I've had this year. The citrus/mineral tension is incredible, the finish goes on for days, acidity and depth and the beginning of some tertiary complexity. Beautiful.

  • Really beautiful, delicate nose with lemon notes, grapefruit, brioche, a bit of toast, and minerals. High acidity with more lemon notes, tart fruit, apricot, and crushed rocks. Long finish. This was an absolutely excellent, complex wine. The oldest Cedric Bouchard I’ve had so far and great to see the wines age beautifully.

  • Cedric Bouchard La Haute Lemble 2008.
    Gogget april 2012.
