Dignified but quiet on the nose, which was very solid with no markings.
The palate was well described by Van as "Rosewater flowing over stones." Geez, I wish I was from San Francisco so I was so poetic. Other thoughts on the palTe - fresh, thin, nice minerality. Freshness on the finish, light but pure. Stuart called it "Necco wafers."
