(Blind tasting) Full, quite rich and complex nose. Dark cherry and mineral. Tobacco and nuts. Gently oaky. Good depth. But some disturbing volatile, balsamic notes that detracts. Medium body. High acidity. Very perfumed with violets and flowers. Both dark and red fruit intermingle. Tannins not fully resolved and bit rough. And there is a rowdy, volatile touch to the wine, that should not be there considering the pedigree. A slight dissapointment. Lost the contest versus a 2007 D. Laurent Clos de la Roche and a 2009 A. Rousseau Mazy-Chambertin.

probably the best Jadot i've had. this was decanted for one hour plus. etheral, yummy and classy. brighter red fruits, cherry, forest floor on the nose. the mouthful is light+ bodied but very full of flavor - good tart bright red fruits, long finish. this is in a great spot today and has legs to age longer but no reason to do so. def decant for at least an hour. really enjoyable

Good showing with quite intense fruit, light spice and excellent balance and energy. Still lacking complexity, will benefit from another decade in the cellar.

no notes and not much memory (other than it was a little lighter in body, brighter in acidity, than I remembered from a bottle 4-5 years ago)... may be in a shut down phase... nonetheless TOTALLY enjoyed cuz we drank it while watching the Dodgers win the World Series!!... reminded me of being in my friends apartment in Westwood watching the 1988 World Series on an old fashioned TV (with a giant tube and rabbit ear antenna)... the 32 year drought is over!!

PnP and consumed over 3 hours. Many 2010's are currently drinking well so I figured this was worth a try. With some swirling and time in the glass it really opened up nicely. Lots of black and red cherry, roses, hints of earth and smoked herbs. Great medium to full-bodied mouth feel with ripe fine tannins. Long finish. Juicy and balanced. Might go to sleep but should have a bright future. Reinforces my favorable opinion of the 2010 vintage. 95+
