La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Black cherry and berry with earth, anise and savory spices. Firm and slightly brooding right now, but with very good concentration. Very good potential, just one small 1/2 notch down from the wonderful CSD (Gagey) just tasted. 93 point potential.

La Paulée Grand Tasting of 2014 Vintage Burgundy (Pier 60, New York): Light ruby. Penetrating, exciting aromas of spice and candied fruit. Medium weight, glycerine richness. Deeply rendered blue fruit, some soil, long, gentle finish, great cling. I thought both of these red Jadot Grand Crus were superb even if they don't have the volume of the bigger vintages. Would love to own and cellar either of them.

La Paulée de New York - Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - Chelsea Piers): This was terrific. Walks the fine line between power and elegance. Large palate presence. Long finish. Really fine.
