Just slightly evolved, full of vibrant fresh fruit, plums, some earthiness, bell pepper, vanilla, minerals. Still a little tannic. Medium to fully bodied, with a very good finish, showing some sweeetness from the oak and high alcohol (14,5%). Very good wine. Seems in a good spot now. Excellent QPR.

For the appellation and price, this is just astonishing. After a few hours, the nose became rather "hot" and indistinct, not really announcing itself as Bordeaux, but the sheer density of the fruit, allied to softening tanins, with a backbone of acidity, would be impressive for any wine. This gives it an almost New World exuberance that reminds me of other modern styles clarets like d’Aiguilhe. It lacks the complexity of a d’Aiguilhe, but at half the price, one cannot complain.
Ready now, will hold for a while, but watch that the fruit does not dry out before you get to it.

This is an absolutely beautiful wine in 2010, and glad I waited this long to pull the cork. An under-radar Bordeaux that really hits above its weight. First-class, just maybe not as intense as some, which doesn't really bother me. A delight to try.

Excellent Bordeaux at this price point. Enough complexity for a Tuesday night.
