My second time trying, and certainly this is a nice wine to follow. A nose that is developing nicely with a lot of savoury and biscuits notes. With a palate of real depth, with vibrant fruits. Very big and structured. I liked this. With VO&TL

Bright clear ruby in the glass with a hint of garnet. A developing nose. Still fruity but showing lots of oak and woody notes. Popped and poured but progressively got better and better. Still very structured and tannic. This has plenty of life left. Drank with Robin A.

This was good to drink now. It needed some time to open up, but then was very generous. It has a lot of meat on the bone. The nose has cassis, black truffles and beef carpaccio. On the palate, it's very round and full. This may not be the most elegant of red burgundies, but it's excellent.

Decanted for about 90 mins. Fresh, good fruits. Had a saltiness on the palate, which added to the complexity. Another good showing.
