Past its prime, but drinkable. I didn't care for how it was tasing. The best of this case was in 2017. One bottle left. We'll drink soon and I'll report back. Maybe this bottle was just off a bit.

Time to finish this wine if you still have it. Not as good as last bottle we drank in 2017 that was about 8 years old. We really think the Pastorale Chards need to be held for a bunch of years before we enjoy them. Had a 2017 bottle last week and it was too tart. One 2009 left. Drinking it soon.

Has the stuffing for more years in bottle. Started out rich with a good dose of oak, though this faded with about 20 min in glass. Especially considering this is a cali chard, very impressive in terms of stone fruit and minerality. Wish I had an extra bottle to hold for another 3-5 years.

Nice mouth-feel, straw color, rich with stone fruits in the nose. Stone fruits and pineapple on the palate. A touch of acidity on the finish. A very nice wine... but the QPR is hurt be high winery price.

Typical aged Phelps! Yum! Yum! Yum! Brought to Super Bowl party. Everyone was telling their spouse to get some before it was gone.
