Of all JP Pastorale Chardonnays I’ve tasted, I enjoyed this one the most with pineapple and other white fruits, a little oak/butter, bright acidity. Maybe, I was just in the mood for fruity Chard with our pasta dishes.

Phelps Customer Appreciation Day 2022 (Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Napa Valley): At Phelps Customer Appreciation Day. Nose of old charred oak, minerals, and pineapple, same on the palate, needs a year to peak or modest decant to enjoy now, same on the palate, rich fruit, medium/big body, subtle, very tasty, medium/long finish but lingers on the palate and makes you want to enjoy more, at $90 retail no way.
