  This is clearly past its prime but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The bouquet had earthy aromas of red fruit, smoke, and sous bois. The palate displayed a savory, earthy, and peppery character that framed more red fruit, bitter chocolate, and sandalwood flavors. It's fading but still shows some Amarone fullness and spunk.
