Tasted over 2 hrs -nearly opaque dark red purple no clearing -rather muted rich plum fig -med/med- acidity is just enough to provide some focus, med+/full weight thick silky textured somewhat faded fig plum spice port-like with a hint of salinity that adds a fresh note to the finish along with some heat and med- tannins -big wine with classic Amarone features probably fully mature now, the heat isn't overwhelming but may become more prominent as the fruit further fades; paradoxically this bottle seems a little fresher and certainly more enjoyable than a bottle 8 years ago

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -mostly opaque dark red -concentrated rich dark fruit fig caramel alcohol -med acidity, med+ weight, raisiny not very complex lot of heat on med length finish with med tannins -not enough complexity or depth to hide the high alcohol, anticipate a couple of years before the fruit starts to fade leaving it more imbalanced

Lean for an Amarone but rich and elegant. Long finish. Classic and good. Not overly raisiny. Can't remember much else
