Consistent to my last tasting note. Showed this next to the 2012 Fourrier Come aux Moines and both were very popular with the Burgundy novices. Aromas dominated by earthy, animalic elements, mineralic, some whole cluster notes. Deep end elegant. Needed a 30 min decant.

After a few minutes in the glass, the nose wonderfully opened up with whole clusters, oak spices, sour cherry. Elegant on the palate, fresh, balanced. Light for a CdR but that is the house style of Georges. So make sure you only buy this in solid and, ripe vintages like 09/10.

Tastes a bit new world. Solid and linear; not un-sweet. Not sure how I feel about this one. But very tasty nonetheless.
