  2 of 3 Dinner @ Foxface. Decanted for an hour at restaurant. Beautiful clear ruby color, initial funky dusty notes quickly blew off revealing sweet, fresh red berry fruit… youthful structure as well, fine grained tannins, good acidity, nice texture, impressive intensity for a 46 years old CdlR, which was quite evident on the finish. This continued to open up over the next 4 hours with last sip being the best. I am in no rush to drink my bottle as this bottle could have easily lasted another decade or two m

  Wonderful wine, full flavored bouquet opens easily with 30 minutes of breathing. Tannins are still present. Color lighter than the flavor
