  • This was good! Had fullish aromas of earthy graphite + orphite infused plums, blackberries, loganberries. Its silky, elegant, medium bodied red+blue fruits palate has got nice fruit, good acidity + length. 12%. Drink up in next 2-3 years. Needed 90 mins aeration.

  • Brooding, touch dull in colour; blackberried, iron filings; gruff tannins, fruit starting to fade, softening on mid -palate; astringent finish. requires a vigorous decant, probably best drunk soon.

  • A very low alcohol wine at 12%. Again Bio. It had lovely transparency throughout with a marked menthol undertone to its aromas and flavours! Has mentholly aromas of minerals, raspberries, loganberries, green peppers and sour cherries. Its lightly bodied, elegant yet tautly fruited well balanced palate has some nice layering, lovely freshness and a shortish aromatic and savoury lightly mentholly finish. Very interesting but not good QPR at 16 Euros.

  • Rubied, resplendent; dusty fruit, sturdy, reserved, brooding; grippy, foursquare, antithesis of flashy, meaty tannins - masking core of fruit; 'masculine', verging on a rugged finish, plenty of potential to improve & extended finish.

  • Quite tight, it never really blossomed like it should but a very good, as usual, Irouleguy. A hint of herbal notes, cassis and blackberry. Light body, only 12%, it is dangerously drinkable ! Very good balance with a great tension on the palate. I would give it another 2 years to really get out of its shell and show more energy.
