  Served by father in law at family dinner. I approached this with some trepidation as our last bottle went down the sink about 6 months ago as it was clearly over mature. More like a medium sweet sherry.
  This bottle was the polar opposite as there was rapier like acidity (sharp!) that overwhelmed the orange peel fruit. It was a decent match for the chinese style duck but on its own? Not my preferred style

  Drank again with duck a l’orange a great match but this time I found this wine a tad too off-dry, a little clumsy and heavy. Perhaps needs drinking up.

  Drunk with duck a l’orange (as usual for us). A lovely match. This is still young and vibrant. There is a slight sweet lime to it on both nose and palate. Good length on the finish. Next time I will try it on it’s own and perhaps just a tad more chilled
