Andre Brunel Dinner (The Century at The Star): touches of marzipan, ripe stone fruit, apricot over peach, slight spice and notes of bees wax. In the mouth medium plus acid, quite forward, tart apricot and mouth coating phenolic grip. Nice but quite forward - a touch of oxidation as well.

A rich yellow-golden color. Smells of apricot, spiced apple sauce, also some waxy, honeyed notes. Full-bodied, perhaps a bit thick, and it lacks the character that acid provides. Still, some tasty apricot, pineapple and honeycomb notes make it pleasant to sip.

A bit more robust and satisfying than I remembered from my last tasting. Floral, mineral, sharp enough to balance with a light Provençal meal, and with a pleasant finish. Well made, but could use some magic to elevate it to the next level.

A very good wine (especially for its price), with a pleasant mineral and floral nose and taste. I wished for more complexity and sharpness, but still a great value.

Pleasant, medium bodied Rhône blanc, well balanced and easy to drink, if not much for complexity. Very good value.
