OG Lunch - Holiday Party (Lonny's Place, Mpls): Well, I was really looking forward to this. But, sadly it was rather advanced and really pretty boring with some oxidation. Drinkable, but nowhere near what it should be.

With oysters out, this shows beautifully mature and impactful. 91+

This doesn’t show the cut, complexity, breeding or depth of better producers’ GCs. Merely very good (or “so-so Les Clos”).

Aroma of apples and wet stone.
On the palate, green apple, lemon, gunflint. Unctuous, waxy texture. Great, citric juicy acidity on the finish.
Good weight and complexity. Fantastic value for the price.

Mid weight. Medium acid. Stone. Lemon. This may not be the most complex or flavorful grand cru chablis but for the price this is a hit.
