This has improved nicely over time….Bouchard has done a very good job overcoming the limitations of this vintage which more often than not has yielded acidic/fresh wines that are a bit thin.
The nose is fantastic right off the bat with florals, lemon zest, and a hint of reduction. The palate has enough ripeness to properly balance the fresh acidity and minerals so that every sip is a pleasure with something new revealing itself. I don’t think the depth of fruit is quite at the level of the 10 or 14 but it’s delicious and in the zone

Another outstanding dinner at Scaramouche. Worked very well with scallops. Bright light yellow. Nose shows walnuts, almonds yellow plums and very subtle orange blossoms. Palate shows white flowers, lemon and mineral notes; very elegant. Still very primary. Balanced, persistent and long. I would drink this now unless you are a fan of old wines and then you will have to wait a long time.

My last bottle of 6. No detailed notes because we drank it with a ton of other wines, but this clearly outperformed the 2019 Martray and other high end white burgs imo. Just beautifully integrated and balanced. Wish I had more.

(Bouchard Père et Fils Corton-Charlemagne Domaine) Light yellow color; appealing, almond, tart apple, lightly saline, tart pear nose; tasty, rounded, ripe pear, mineral palate with integrating light graham cracker oak; needs 4-5 years; long finish (13.5% alcohol)

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Lemon, lime, lemon curd with subtle floral and spice notes. Good density and persistent. Very good now.
