  12.8% alc with a deep- brick red core and wide orange rim. Obvious evolution with sandalwood, leather, preserved stewed rumtopf fruit on the red spectrum. The palate though is more black fruit with pastilles, wine gums, jubé fruit, alongside tar, bovril, sandalwood, ribena with sausage rolls, raisin in a sweet pastry, custard apple. Super complex and surprisingly for a 22 year old wine! Lovely sweetness in the mid palate with resolved sweet tannins and good length.
