Community Tasting Notes (8) Avg Score: 89.8 points

  • My last bottle, a light golden colour with some green impressions, a fresh and creamy bouquet with a hint
of caramel. Far better than the two, slightly oxydized, bottles before; no hints of decay, this wine is very fresh and has
    a balanced (after)taste.

  • strikingly different from my last tasting of this wine in 2004. Nice colour deeper than in 2004 but by no means dark or appearing oxidized. Restrained nose right out of the bottle, but clean citrus is predominant on the palate. The mineral accents I remembered from 2004 seem absent here, but the core is solid and actually displays an enhanced textural richness. Contrary to professional tasting notes from this wine's release, I believe it has 2-3 moire years, though I would not argue with anyome who would say this wine is peaking now.

  • A difficult wine; without a lot of aeration this wine has a slightly oxydized character. Decanted the evening before and put back in the bottle the wine
gave a lot of ripe and fresh En Remilly style. On two recent occasions the wine was more creamy. This time the wine remained a little closed and that is why
I gave it now 89 points. Also the nose remained somewhat restrained. Still a lovely bottle. If you open the bottle and taste immediately I assure you that
you won't give him more than 80 points. Be patient and let the wine evolve in the carafe. Don't wait too long with your remaining bottles.

  • Much better than the first, did not take very long to exhibit good fruit and nice long finish. Now I wish I had more.

  • pretty good, probably on the other side of its peak. Still had some flavors, needed about an hour to show. Will be drinking my last bottle sooner rather than later.
