Tasted at The Wine Society's London Wine Fair. My wife and I were disappointed with both Leflaive white Burgundies on show. Light silver colour. The nose is promising, soft and subtle, though not much fruit showing. The palate is a little bitter. We thought it was served a little warm and we think it is far too young. We reckon it needs a year or two to open up.

Olivier Leflaive Vineyard and Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 11, Visit 1) (Puligny-Montrachet): Tasting at Leflaive. Dense, almost meaty. Good concentration, but slightly awkward, seemingly rugged finish. Tough to fully assess, needs time?
