  • First time with this maker and started out with a muted nose and some residue tannins which needed quite a bit of time and air but by the later part of the evening this developed a beautiful nose which although not chambolle like was very attractive with anise and truffle. On the palate this became a refined elegant wine with a element of sweet caramel. This was the WOTN by the end of the evening without doubt.

  • Rodger Arai. Sweet, slight rustic aromatics. Chambolle notes. Very persistent.

  • Unfortunately had some faint cork taint. Several at the table would have gladly drunk the bottle, but it would have bothered me all night. Unfortunately it's an older purchase, and therefore I have no way to get any sort of credit on the bottle.

  • An absolutely beautiful bottle of wine in all ways. Delicate violet perfume on the nose, but like actaully smelling violets in the ground. Great cherry fruit with tea under notes. Medium long finish with more fruit and some earthy spice. Though not deep, it was just beautiful in the way a Chambolle-Musigny ought.
