Stylistically very similar to the 2 other Truchot wines this evening. Flowers, cherries and some soil on the nose, with a palate showing lots of dark-red berries that ended with a nice elegant finish.

Consumed over two nights. Very earthy nose- moss, mushrooms, flowers, which carries through to the palate but is more of a backnote to very rich red fruits in an a graceful package. Started off almost too elegantly but added weight and by the last glass packed a good punch. lovely stuff.

popped and poured. very light color. The nose reminded me of spring- fresh flowers, a touch of cut grass, wet earth. The best word to describe the palate is graceful. red fruits, lace, minerals with a buried tannic backbone that strikes me as effortless. fantastic. ready to drink, but no hurry.
