Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Marea - New York NY): Yellow and green apple with chiseled mineral and saline textures, brightly supporting everything else. Very good length and persistence. Tasted 3 or 4 times through the afternoon, this kept opening up and lengthening.

Taut and chiseled personality with subtle herbal, oyster, and lemon notes. I’d be more convinced if there were more intensity on the palate and length on the finish. Perhaps this would develop more postitively with air (perhaps I should say probably), but only had a glass. 91ish?

Really salty and mineral, but the vintage is accessible and drinking well. 92-93

Survey of 2011 Dauvissat and Raveneau Premier and Grand Crus (San Francisco): Light golden. Herbal nose. Silky and full early with sweet citrus that rapidly transitions to an outstanding, and still youthful soil finish.
