Just terrific! Bricking throughout. Aromas of dark strawberries. Deeply satisfying flavors of strawberry, earthy notes, candied red fruits, juicy acidity. Long on the palate. Enjoy now through 2028.

Tasted double blind. This is in full bloom and offering lots of complexity, a first nice tertiary block of aromas to complement the sweet fruit and is all packed in an elegant frame. Quite complete and a joy to drink. The finish was not on par with the bouquet and palate, and it didn’t change as much as others we had today but I would love to drink this wine every day.
TN: Expressive dark fruit notes, leather, herbs, tobacco, mushrooms, some licorice. On the palate very fine, round, herbal, tobacco, mushrooms, and a beautiful fruit sweetness, and some honey notes towards finish. More and more red fruits came out the longer we followed the wine which added to the seductiveness and balance. Full of finesse, great freshness, light and airy texture but with good aromatic density and a superb balance.
Decanting: A short decant should be sufficient.

This is a showstopper. It has taken decades to come around. First there is the deep aroma of sweet dark strawberries. Then liquid candy, bright strawberries and cherries, such purity of flavor and length, yet big and bold. This is everything a Clos de Beze should be. Superb. Solidly in the drinking window now through 2028. Purchased upon released.

Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. I've been thrilled by this wine before, but today's bottle seemed slightly dirty.

Unable to rate as this was totally corked. Sad. I had another but sent it back to Acker auctions.
