70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah from generally old vines, aged in small oak barrels for 18 months.
I've enjoyed really mature Vignelaure in the past and the colour immediately betrays this as unready, indeed this bottle is in a dumb phase, and didn't really develop over a couple of days. The benefit of the doubt at 88, but this needs a lot more time.
