  Fully mature appearance, medium-deep, intense mahogany rim; the nose is lively, deep and harmonious, warm, mature and vinous, perfectly healthy, ripe sweetness, spicy notes, bright red fruit, oak; on the palate rounded and mature, complete, good weight and balance, stuffing, tannin and structure; slightly drying finish. Another good Dutch bottling (Bijlsma in Sneek), has survived well in spite of the puny cork (< 3cm).
