  • An ethereal, amazingly pure and bright nose of discreet gooseberry, grapefruit, flint and herb aromas. Really powerful and delicate at the same time. Some 2 hours of aeration brings in some creaminess, due to the wood aging this wine supposedly sees I believe. On the palate starts off shy like a whisper, but quickly begins to gain more power and grow in presence, finishing with a massive authority. As crystal clear and pure as they come with impeccable balance. Bone dry and really, really savoury. The texture is simply amazing for this level, combining silkiness to high intensity and slight nervosity. Pleasantly tart with flavors very similar to the aromas on the nose. Long and mouthwatering. Not unlike Raveneau for Chablis, this wine possesses the classic Sancerre flavor profile while being superior in every way possible and most importantly sporting a really special mouthfeel. Only on the finish the wine is merely on a very good level, being just the kind of tart and ridiculously intense that one might expect. That being said, I dare to expect only great things from this wine in the future.

  • Paille claire.
Au nez, petits fruits blanc, fleurs blanches, agrumes.
En bouche, agrumes, vif et frais. Bonne longueur. Très bien. Sancerre typique.

  • Nez charmer de fruit blanc, avec une touche d'aneth typique. Bouche équilibrée, fraîche, ça se boit tout seul.
