  • Medium yellow. Lovely citrus aromatics. Medium body with discernible but not objectionable wood. Great spiciness and acidity. It's interesting that after a very muted period around 2010, this wine has really come around and seems fresher now than ever. Really excellent.

  • As with the last few bottles over the past year and a half, expressive and drinking very well now. Seductive texture, lanolin (like some Chenin Blancs and Semillons), muted varietal character and altogether delicious without being overpowered by the wood. At an excellent point now, it seems to have really bounced back from a stage at which there was nothing but wood. Instructive...or maybe not.

  • Medium yellow. Citrus nose. Fresh yet textured with the creaminess imparted by the wood. Once again, excellent and not overpowered by the oak.

  • Very fresh. Notes of grapefruit in nose, very strong (pleasant) acidity in mouth. Fruit is almost all gone in mouth. Drink now.
