Dardi Le Rose Barolo Vertical at 67PM. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with moderate garnet rim. Legs. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of mushroom, sous bois earth, ripe black cherries, dark red cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium dipping acidity, medium+ alcohol, integrated tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of mushroom tertiary earth, sweet tea leaves, ripe black + dark red cherries, ripe soft plums. Long finish with nice mushroomy notes. 2nd pour from another bottle was fresher and slightly better acidity, but still ripe and with black licorice. Very good quality and actually enjoyable, though I would call this vintage a drink up soon rather than hold.
