Had with friends and we were all very impressed. Wine has matured beautifully: nice chard nose, dark gold color and rich on the palate. Would be hard for most to distinguish from a nice aged Burgundy given the balance of fruit, acid and structure. Initially tasted by itself, then with food and great both ways. I would say it is close to peak, perhaps a bit past, perhaps not there yet.

Excellent sipping as an aperitif; held up well to strong snacks. Nice peach nose; still some acid on the palate with a hint of lime, peach, apricot and nice viscocity. Age shows in some complexity, esp. on the palate, hints of oak but everything is very well integrated.

Had with friends in DC; with swordfish for dinner. Great pairing and this wine continues to impress. Moderate Chard nose: fruit, hint of oak; big flavor on the palette, mainly fruit but just enough structure and acid to hold up well with robust food. Fantastic.

Apple, lemon, a bit of vanilla. Light oak, fairly well balanced but enough tannic structure that it could have probably sat in the cellar for another year or so. I had it with pizza, anchovies and olives but it's a wine that could stand well on its own. I find too many Chardonnays to be more about the oak in the barrel than the fruit, this one lets the fruit stand out.

Last bottle, nice everyday Chard. Good QPR should be sooner rather than later.
