Grabbed this when I was going for a 2012 but glad I did. Discovered that it is well past its prime which was a disappointment though it's possible the cork wasn't the best. It was still drinkable and went OK with food but it was quite oxidized. Some chard fruit still on the nose but not much on the palate.

Had with a seafood brunch. Nose is spectacular: big with classic soft Chardonnay fruit, butter, a hint of floral. The same continues on the palette. The previous 2007 I opened seemed tired; this one is fresh and probably not yet at its peak. Peach, apricot, butter balanced with nice acidity on the palette with a medium to long finish. Overall, great!

A nicely made Chard and holding up well with time in bottle. A light cystal straw colored wine. The nose is a crisp citrus. The tast is a risp citrus and nice pear and a light touch of oak. The finish is a light tangy fruit and light oak and a whisper of tannin but the lingering flavoring is a bit watery on the edge.

Nose is full but delicate with hints of lightly sauteed pear. Palate is firm, complex and refreshing with flavors of medium ripe peach and light texture of wood and lemon pith.

(Ravines Wine Cellars Chardonnay Finger Lakes) Toasty oak, fig, roasted nuts and apples greet the nose. Not timid or fruit-forward, roasted nuts, oak and fig lead here with apple and dried apricot fruit. Vanilla cream on super-long finish. Good balance, but a lot of oak right now.

Drinking really well! Still some acidity, smooth mouth feel, buttery but without heavy oak. Lemon on the finish. Very much enjoyed
