After the great 2020 vintage, I thought 21 would be a let down. But no! This is a classic burgundy style chard: nice fruit and butter on the nose, continue on the palate with good acidity. This wine is all about balance. And it pairs superbly with food.

Nice buttery nose with some mineral and fruit under it; nice balance on the palate of fruit, spice and the right amount of acidity. Should age very well but drinking very nicely right now.

Beautiful aromas of baked yellow apple, pie crust, brioche, lemon zest. Palate is similar, perfect balance between the slight oak and malo influences with the citrus brightness and acidity. Medium acid, medium body, medium gold color, solidly lengthy finish. Almost like a caramelized lemon tart and apple galette... really delicious. The balance that Morten achieves in Ravines wines is always spot on, and this wine is perfectly indicative of that.

Great chard; didn't get notes but classic, almost white burgundy.
