Pretty tight at the beginning, opening up slightly with some air. Pretty aromatics of red cherries, strawberries, also some dark fruit too, sweet spices like cinnamon, some orange zest and flowery notes. Medium+ bodied, with good persistence, medium+/or higher tannin that is a little rough at the moment. Maybe I am being super critical because Fourrier is usually super silky. Medium acidity. Good length. A very good Chambolle that might still need some time to soften.

Nose of red fruit, spices, cherries, also orange peel. Nice aromatics. The palate is very closed with really tight tannins, unusual for Fourrier. Hard to judge at this stage, trust that they mellow given the usually softer house style. After 2025. 91-93

Not giving very much on this night. Monolithic and closed down. Try again another time and/or try an extended decant. No rating given
