Hard to improve upon the notes I read of CT Member TOMLEE. I agree that this is a great Pinot Noir. His sasparilla and clove note was spot on ! Bravo to him.

Light red in color. 14.5% ABV. Captivating nose of red fruits, cloves, sarsaparilla and forest floor. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Concentration and power that belies the color and age of the wine. Cherry, cranberry, pomegranate and earth on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Stunning Pinot Noir that for the price has very few peers. As always a good sign for the single vineyard designates from this vintage. Best over the next several years.

Too much alcohol on the nose as well as the pallet. It overwhelms the cherry and cranberry fruit and stings the throat.
