The wine geek that I am I could not pass this up. A color pale orange with copper hues, star bright reflections, low viscosity and obviously high concentration. The nose offers tangerine, bruised ripe cantaloupe, orange blossom, ruby red grapefruit and apricot aromas. The palate is medium in body with Moderate+ acidity and moderate mid-palate density. Flavors of cantaloupe and apricot upfront, with nectarine and lemon zest following and flavors of orange sherbet, ruby red grapefruit and mineral finishing with moderate intensity and good weight.

Soft, skin tannins frame citrus, peach, apricot and red berry flavors literally gush out of this wine. Rich, ripe and voluptuous, remember that this is not a rose; it is an "Orange Wine" because of skin contact during maceration.

A pink pinot grigio with a funky barnyard-y nose. A lot of pink grapefruit and much more tannin and body than a typical PG. Strangely enough, a little like a bone dry, non-unctuous sauternes.

Falltacular 2014 (FMIII in the OC): Orange colored Pinot Grigio? Go figure. Tree fruit and medium plus acid. Light and crisp. Medium finish.
