Visual: nice, pretty moderately transparent reddish/purple color. No signs of bricking.
Nose: Sous Bois, forest floor, pine needles, weathered oak
Palate: Starts with crunchy bright red fruit, comes on strong with balanced oak, forest floor, peat and tar. Great balance in a strong, masculine forward approach that transforms into a beautiful, almost feminine finish of tar and rose petals.
Very special bottle indeed. This blows away the previous bottle. A+!!! Hitting WAY above its weight. Thank you Bacchus!

A nicely mature sauvage nose with a taste that follows the same impression. Quite well balanced, although a bit too ripe for my taste. It is also somewhat rustic and in the end I didn't find it very delicious. Succesful for the vintage anyway, I guess.

Visual: Cranberry color, moderate to high transparency. Some lightening of the edge 1/4" or so.
Nose: Sous Bois, forest floor, oyster mushrooms, a bit of tar
Palate: Mature red fruit, forest floor, peat and tar. Well balanced tannins and fruit. In a good place.
Overall: This was a great treat after a day of sporting clays and over a nice dinner at PMC. B+

Fruit forward and a bit warm. Not bad, but not at all my style.

Visual: somewhat cloudy, magenta center which turns garnet to a grating edge.
Nose: pine tar, oyster mushrooms and a bit of spice box
Palate: Red cherries, bit of confectionary sugar, tar, pine and foret floor.
Nicely balanced fruit and tannins. A good, but not terribly long finish. Solid B+
