  Felseneck Vertical tasting of all vintages with Tim (Rocaille Düsseldorf): blind, Zalto universal glas
  all 15 vintages of Schäfer-Fröhlich in 5 flights, all semi blind
  
  I guessed right. The "sweetest" Felseneck with some nice aging signs. Balanced, fresh, citrus dominated, some yellow stone fruits. At his peak, at 3-5 more years. 95

  much fresher than 3 month ago and more important less sweet. lime dominated with spices and flintstone. clear pure finish. the best 2004 Riesling we had that day. 97

  Wow so amazing fresh. You could guess it is freshly bottled as 15 or 16. Still the citrus aromas are in the foreground. Pink grapefruit and some unripe pineapple. This gem is so elegant and light as a Kabi. You don't feel the alcohol (12,5%). In the beginning maybe a touch too sweet but after one hour more balanced and the sweetness disappears nearly completely and you have a perfect Riesling with a lot of pressure but in a filigree manner. This wine has at least 10-15 years ahead. We drank half of the bottle next day and even better. 95(97)

  Occasional dinner group: Riesling GG and 100 RP point wines: Beautifully crispy bouquet with some age on it. On the palate aromatic, fresh citrus, minerals and some caramel. Complex, harmonious and beautiful wine.
