  5th bottle from a half case bought en primeur. Decent nose, good body, still that bell pepper aroma followed by blackberries. Well integrated complexity. Tannins are still overpowering the fruit a little so the wine could improve further. Last bottle in 2 years time.

  中宝石色，闻香有些brett的皮毛和腌菜味，飘逸的花香混合着红果香气，入口酸度高，单宁紧涩，有些糊嘴，颗粒细腻，结构漂亮，红果加上些许植物气息，酒体偏轻，风格飘逸，后段没太多展现，感觉没完全醒开，在今天这样偏重酒体的酒居多的局上有些吃亏，不过我个人非常喜欢，细节精致，很有灵气的一支酒。

  Deep ruby. Intense aromas of raspberies, cherry, blackberries. pepper, leather, smoke. Wine is dry, medium+ acidity, medium tannins. Intense taste of blackberry, red cherry, licorice. Long finish. Excelent wine.

  First bottle from a half case bought en primeur. Lovely big nose initially of raspberry then I get the red peppers and cured meats. Later dark chocolate. The fruit is plentiful and soft and the tannins still grippy, so this will improve for another 5 years. Whilst very enjoyable now I'll wait a couple of years before trying another. Score should improve.

  Decanted for 1.5-2 hours at 12 degrees C. Still felt somewhat withdrawn. My guess is that this would be even better with another 5-7 years in the cellar to bring out the full flavor spectrum. Some aromas (e.g. cured meat, pepper) not quite as pronounced as would have been expected for Cote Rotie.
