  Notes very consistent with the previous bottle from about 2 months ago. Acquired both of these bottles as part of a much larger cellar acquisition and wish we had at least a case. Just canNOT believe how well this wine is drinking right now and how well it has held up and unlike the 1st bottle which was more planned out this 2nd one was popped & poured on a whim. Highly recommend but also very much time to be drinking up any remaining holdings - this is at or maybe slightly past prime and will likely start fading soon.

  Drinking incredibly well right now but no tannins left and will start fading soon so drink up any holdings this year and into next year. Nose a bit sweet, somewhat madeirized with plums, caramel and dark cherry but after a few minutes in the glass to open up it turned into a beautiful complex well integrated old classic Bdx style Cabernet with enough fruit and backbone to hint at the CA not French origin. Very pleasantly surprised. Dark red with bricking and classic and initially some musk which blew away quickly with remaining flavors of cassis, dark cherry, smoke and a remaining hint of oak.

  Well, this guy was a little past his prime. No real off flavors, but the fade has set in. On the good side, it had plenty of Napa Cab kind of body and flavor, just a weaker and more wizened version of it.
